Buteo Photo Gear Hide Falco Mark IV Brown

The Falco Mark IV Brown is the perfect low-level hide for nature photographers who want to get close to the ground without being noticed. Compact and lightweight, you set it up in seconds and pack it away just as fast. Clever design keeps you completely hidden while you capture razor-sharp shots from multiple angles.

Key Features Falco Mark IV Brown

• 3 fixed lens openings with snoots and insect mesh for clear shots from every angle
• Space for 1 person including camera bag and tripod, even if you’re over 2 meters tall
• Sturdy, lightweight frame with 3 half fiberglass hoops
• Camouflage patterns available in green, brown, and reed
• Optimized details like closable frame tubes, smart ventilation, and extra viewing windows

Designed by photographers for photographers and field-tested, this hide keeps you completely invisible to wildlife. Clever overhangs prevent rain from entering the viewing windows, while extra windows let you keep an eye on your surroundings at all times.

The door features a new rain-shedding zipper and a camouflage insect mesh that doubles as ventilation. All lens openings have fixed insect mesh and a small outer rain cover. At the front bottom, a special zip lets a tripod leg stick out while sealing completely when not in use. Inside, there’s room for a low ground tripod or a small three-legged tripod with your camera, plus a backpack with extra gear.

The Falco Mark IV allows fast and discreet setups, even in tricky conditions. Three sturdy fiberglass hoops make assembly a breeze. Place the hide a day ahead so animals get used to your presence and start shooting immediately. Four guy lines add extra stability, though usually they aren’t needed.

Thanks to the camouflage, the hide blends seamlessly into its surroundings. Use the attached cords to add branches or leaves, or add a separate camo net for even better integration. For longer sessions, the optional rain cover provides extra protection against rain and wind. Roll up the front slightly and secure with the cord to access the front window while staying dry inside.

The Falco Mark IV comes complete with 8 aluminum pegs, 4 guy lines, and fixed snoots at each photo window. When you purchase the extra rain cover, you get 8 additional pegs and 4 tension cords. You’re ready to start capturing amazing low-level wildlife shots right away!
